Biography
Dr. Kan Ee May is a data science professional with over 12 years of experience in leading data-driven innovations. She was recognized in Who’s Who in Engineering Singapore for her contributions to Singapore’s economic growth and nation-building, particularly for her work in computational intelligence. This recognition was awarded by the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES) in acknowledgment of her role in improving the quality of life through technology.
Dr. Kan also led the establishment of the Sustainability Experience Centre, Singapore’s first Sustainable Development Centre. The centre has been recognized for helping many SMEs adopt sustainable technologies, making it easier for businesses to embrace green practices and enhance their environmental sustainability.
Her research focuses on using AI to create smarter, more sustainable environment. Many of her projects, supported by industry and government, look at how data-driven technologies can help businesses operate more efficiently while reducing their environmental impact. Through her work, she is helping to shape a future where sustainability and technology go hand in hand, always with an eye on practical, real-world applications.
